Painting

When we began this kitchen cabinet and countertop update, we were happy nonetheless to practice what we learned on our previous cabinet transformation.

In this residency we had to do a little demo and fixing of the ceilings. The client had previously done some electric and plumbing projects, which left them in need of wall and ceiling finishing. She had a few materials to use, such as: wood panel, sheetrock, and hanging ceiling squares. 

This door install was in a trailer home, where the sliding door came loose and it was just wore out. We had to take off the old door, while leaving the other as a big window. We then needed a few wood pieces to frame and install the door. We then finished with paint. 

In this project we had to install the insulation and sheetrock, drywall finish, and paint finish. We had to add some wood in the corners to install sheetrock. 

The client chose a very nice, happy warm yellow, I was very fond of the choice. 

Is not very often for anyone to ask you to execute a cabinet transformation into something lets say, more appealing. Although it can be a substantial investment, the benefits are always worth it. As long as the end result is better than it was. This cupboard is supported by a heavy-dutty shelf bracket, and the added carpentry on the frame. Doors were made showcase glass door style for displaying things. Each door was made with a door lock installed on  each door, for security of goods. The project was finished with a coat of primer and as well as a thick coat of paint. 

The clients were very nice and kind. We had to work with a couple walls that had wall paper. Overall the project went well; all walls, ceilings and trim was painted. We begun by repairing wall damages, sanding and cleaning surfaces, and finished with primer and paint. 

They shared some homemade Indian Food, and it was awesome. I enjoyed being there.
